On Saturday, May 17, 2025, the City of Beaumont will celebrate the return of Breezin’ Through Beaumont. This event consists of a 5k road race. Everyone is encouraged to come out and watch this exciting event.
The race will begin in front of the Beaumont Civic Center at 550 E. Sixth St., Beaumont, CA 92223. and continue along the islands of Palm Avenue to 13th Street before returning southbound to 11th Street where the race will wind around Stewart Park before finishing back at the Civic Center. Whether you are an experienced runner or an avid walker, everyone interested is encouraged to participate.
Event Times
6:30 a.m. - Registration and bag pickup
8:00 a.m. - Race starts
Expected to maintain a 15-minute mile pace - The 15-minute pace guideline means you will be outside of the dedicated road closures if you fall behind this pace. In that case, you will still be able to complete the race but must follow standard pedestrian rules—stopping at stop signs and being mindful of traffic.
9:00 a.m. - Awards Ceremony
The awards ceremony is expected to take place at 9 am on the front steps of the Civic Center. The top three male and female finishers in each age division will be awarded medals. Overall male and female winners will receive trophies.

- Preregistration (Open until April 30) - $20
- Children (17 and under) and Seniors (65+) - $15
- Pre-registration guaranteed a race shirt.
- Race Day Registration for all ages - $30
Bib Pick-up Information
Pick-up on race day at the Beaumont Civic Center beginning at 6:30 a.m.
Runners can pick up their race bibs and t-shirts ahead of race day on May 12 – 15 from 1 pm to 5 pm at the Albert A. Chatigny Sr. Community Recreation Center at 1310 Oak Valley Parkway.
Road Closures
During the events, there will be rolling street closures and no-parking zones throughout the course. The areas most affected within the city will be along:
- 6th Street from Beaumont Avenue to Palm Avenue
- Palm Ave from 6th Street to Oak Valley Parkway
- 11th Street from Palm Avenue to Magnolia Ave
- Maple Ave from 8th Street to 11th Street
- 8th Street from Palm Avenue to Magnolia Ave
- Orange Ave from 8th Street to 11th Street
- Magnolia Ave from 8th Street to 11th Street
